According to a report by Pipe Sierra on Mas Que Pelotas, Barcelona is actively pursuing the transfer of Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.
The Catalan club is keen on securing the forward before the summer transfer window closes. However, Liverpool remains adamant about their valuation of the player, setting the price tag between €60-65 million.
At the onset of the transfer window, Barcelona had initially targeted Nico Williams from Athletic Club. Williams was their primary focus during the early stages. Despite this, Williams opted to stay at San Mamés after being given the team’s number 10 jersey.
Following Williams’ decision to remain at Athletic Club, Luis Diaz has emerged as a viable alternative for Barcelona.
Despite not delivering exceptional performances during his time at Liverpool, Diaz is seen as having the potential to become a significant asset for Barcelona.
