Barcelona are closely monitoring Francisco Trincão’s return to form at Sporting CP, as reported by Diario Sport on Saturday.
The 24-year-old winger has regained his best form with the Portuguese club this season, recording an impressive ten goal contributions in ten league matches for the 2024/25 season.
His contributions include a high number of assists in Liga Portugal, making him one of the top creators in the league.
Barcelona, a former club of Trincão, has observed his achievements.
In the summer of 2023, when Trincão was permanently transferred to Sporting, Barcelona secured a buyback option and a sell-on clause in the deal.
According to Sport, Barcelona is hopeful about Trincão’s ongoing development, aiming to persuade Sporting to think about a potential future sale, in which Barcelona would receive half of the profits.
