Simultaneously, FC Barcelona are prioritizing a massive structural upgrade for Abdelkarim.
Following an explosive pre-season campaign where he finished as the team’s top goalscorer, the Egyptian forward’s current €15 million buyout clause is viewed internally as severely outdated.
Deco held direct talks with the player’s agent earlier this week to formalize an agreement that will raise his release clause to a staggering €150 million.
Rounding out the trio is 18-year-old Espart, who emerged as one of pre-season’s biggest revelations after adjusting seamlessly to senior demands at left-back.
