Gavi, Pedri and Marc Casado were the main starters before December, but most recently, the German coach has brought Frenkie de Jong back into the fold.
Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez are also options and they have been the unlucky ones when it comes to game time this season.
However, due to the wealth of options in the middle of the park, it has meant that clubs are reportedly set to test Barcelona’s resolve when it comes to potentially letting some leave next summer.

The report states that Ruben Amorim likes the La Masia graduate a lot and wants to bring him to the club to reinforce their midfield.
Other Premier League sides have also been linked with the 21-year-old, with Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea being another side willing to spend big on Casado next summer.
Hopefully, Casado is happy at Barcelona and does not see himself playing in the Premier League, as if he does then it could spell trouble for Flick when it comes to trying to convince him to remain at the club.
