Lamine Yamal’s contract is set to end after the 2026 season, however, Barcelona are already in talks with the 17-year-old and all signs point to him renewing his deal.

Despite it looking like a certainty he will continue his stay in Catalonia, many top clubs are still lying in wait just in case the Blaugrana cannot reach an agreement with Yamal.

PSG, who had a €250million bid turned down last season are one of those teams, along with Premier League sides.

Recently, the teenager spoke about the Parisian’s interest where he claimed it was ‘unfeasible’ for him to join another club due to his current contract.

“I don’t get them, but if someone close to me did, they wouldn’t have told me. First, and above all, because I had a contract and then because I think it was unfeasible for me to go to another club.”

Liverpool, Manchester United & Manchester City want Lamine Yamal

Mundo Deportivo, via Sport Witness, have reported that many clubs ‘continue dreaming’ about signing Yamal, however, Liverpool have recently ‘pushed’ for his signature.

It is also claimed that Manchester United and Manchester City are monitoring his situation even though it will not be easy for any club to pry him away from Barcelona.

Arne Slot’s side probably have the best chance out of any side as if they lose Mohamed Salah for free they would need to replace him.

It also helps that they are currently one of the best teams in the world and they do not need to worry about financial fair play rules, as things stand.

Despite this interest, it is still expected Yamal will sign with Barcelona and once that happens then many of these clubs can consider signing the 17-year-old a lost cause for many many years.
