Barcelona travelled to the northeastern part of the island of Gran Canaria yesterday for their crucial battle with Las Palmas today.

The Catalan club journeyed for 4 hours and, after the trip and preparation, went head-to-head with Las Palmas in what appeared to be a thrilling game.

After the match, Hansi Flick gave his verdict on the impact of the Spanish duo on the team’s supposed success this season.

Hansi Flick Talks Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres

After the game against Las Palmas, Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick praised Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres and remarked on their impact on the team’s success.

The German coach couldn’t hold back his words about the goalscorers who came on from the bench and instantly impacted the game’s outcome.

“The subs worked well, yes. That’s why we count on the players who come off the bench.” Hansi Flick said.

Regarding the MVP of the game, Hansi Flick said, “Dani Olmo scored the first goal, and he was essential for us.” On Ferran, he said, “Ferran scores many goals despite being a substitute. But he’s always an option for the starting XI.”

Despite the performance of Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres, the coach wasn’t pleased with the overall team performance and spoke about the need to improve in the next match.

Barcelona has another crucial match against Atletico Madrid in Tuesday’s semi-final of the Copa del Rey competition. They will be hoping to get revenge for the loss in the league, extending their unbeaten run for the year.
