Tonight, Rayo Vallecano visit Barcelona in what is set to be a much-anticipated game when it comes to the La Liga title race.

Over the weekend, Barca’s title rivals, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid both drew, giving Hansi Flick’s side a chance to go top of the league on goal difference.

However, this fixture will not be easy as Vallecano are currently on an 8-game undefeated run in the league, which stretches back to December.

The previous fixture between these two sides was a tricky game too, with the Blauragrana coming out narrow 2-1 victors away from home thanks to goals from Pedri and Dani Olmo.

Due to this, Flick seems to be going with his strongest available team according to Mundo Deportivo, via Managing Barca.

Expected starting lineup:

Wojciech Szczesny;

Jules Koundé, Pau Cubarsí, Iñigo Martínez, Alejandro Balde;

Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi;

Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha

Even though Los Franjirrojos have been in impressive form this campaign, Barcelona should have enough to win, especially when you consider a place at the top of La Liga is at stakes.
