Jules Kounde has been a mainstay in Barcelona’s team the last couple of years and this season has been no different, playing 34 games in all competitions so far.

Despite paying €55million for the French international, Kounde has more than proven he has been worth it, becoming one of the best right-backs in the world.

However, due to this impressive form, it has attracted interest from numerous clubs and one Premier League side is hoping to convince him to depart Spain next summer.

According to Sport, via Managing Barca,  Chelsea are willing to offer €100million to Barcelona for Koundé’s signature.

Even though the 26-year-old has been very solid for the Blaugrana, an offer that large could be hard to turn down, especially as the club reportedly need to free up funds to make major signings.

Kounde’s contract is also set to end in 2027 so if he shows no interest in signing a new deal, it could be enough to justify selling him in the upcoming transfer window.

However, if the former Sevilla player is happy at Barcelona then it seems unlikely that any deal will transpire as Joan Laporta attempts to provide Hansi Flick with the best squad possible to challenge.
