One of the midfielders who appeared to have found his scoring boot, Fermin Lopez, firmly remarked about the Champions League final on May 31st at Munich.
Fermin Lopez has contributed effectively. He has five goals and five assists across all competitions. In La Liga, he has three goals and two assists in only five starts (15 appearances in total).
As revealed by Journalist Toni Juanmarti, Fermin Lopez recalled the last time Barcelona won the UEFA Champions League, saying he was only 12. Excited, Fermin Lopez said, “Next May 31st, I will be there. Champions League final.”
In the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League competition, Barcelona is one of the favorites to lift the trophy after their stellar performance in the group stage phase, having scored 28 goals and conceded 13 goals in 8 matches.
It remains to be seen who Barcelona will be facing in the round of 16 amongst Benfica, Paris Saint-German (PSG), Monaco, and Brest. This will be determined in the next seeding round.
