A few weeks ago it looked like Real Madrid were set to runaway with the La Liga title after Barcelona and Atletico Madrid dropped unnecessary points.

Fortunately, Los Blancos have slipped up and their lead at the top of the league has massively decreased, with Barca now only two points behind them.

Madrid travel to Osasuna this afternoon, whilst Barcelona host Rayo Vallecano. Two difficult games for the La Liga hopefuls.

Unfortunately, Hansi Flick could be dealt a huge blow as it looks like one of his captains has picked up an injury.

Toni Juanmarti, via Managing Barca, originally reported that the Uruguayan defender was set to miss Monday’s game, however, Araujo has since been spotted in training and is trying to regain fitness for the crucial La Liga tie.

Thankfully, Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez are both set to be available for the game, meaning the German can return back to the defence that started Barça’s impressive run.
