Over the years La Masia has produced some of the best talents the world of football has ever seen.

Lionel Messi, Xavi, Sergio Busquets, and Andrés Iniesta are just a handful of players who have gone on to become legendary names in football.

The world-renowned academy is still pumping out some incredible talents, such as Gavi and Dani Olmo.

However, in the last couple of seasons, two players have really stood out and have already established themselves as potentially world-class players despite being teenagers.

Lamine Yamal broke onto the scene last year and Pau Cubarsi has already cemented himself as Hansi Flick’s main centre-back this campaign.

The teenage duo are once again proving why La Masia is the best academy in the world and it has also saved Barcelona’s Sporting Director, making it so he can rely on the youth players instead of spending millions on transfers.

“Lamine Yamal and Cubarsí are two weirdos, a different breed,” Deco said in a recent interview, cited by Managing Barca

“Their maturity and ability to handle the pressure of playing for Barça at such a young age make them so special.”

Hopefully, La Masia can continue to attract and create the best talent in world football, something which will massively help Barca when it comes to their long-term finances.
