Dani Olmo could be set for a Premier League move this January as Barcelona are still struggling to register him.

Dani Olmo and Pau Victor still not being registered is the big story in the Barcelona universe, despite Hansi Flick’s side playing in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final this evening.
Barça have sent off the paperwork to the CSD and journalists close to the club remain confident that the pair will allowed to be registered this season.
However, this was the case with La Liga and the RFEF yet they decided not to allow it and left it up to the courts.
Due to this uncertainty, it has allowed rumours to start swirling about potential transfers this January, especially in the case of Olmo.
Now, a former Manchester City advisor, Stefan Borson, has told Football Insider that a number of Premier League clubs would be interested in taking the Spanish international on loan.
“I think a loan move is possible. Although somebody did mention that there could be issues getting approval for a loan move given that he’s not registered in La Liga, so you kind of have this almost total block.
“It does look increasingly unlikely that Barcelona are going to get through this problem. They have talked about various approaches to it, but it does look like they will fail to get him registered.
“That will leave the door open for probably a number of clubs. I don’t think it’s just the Manchester clubs. There are probably 10 clubs around Europe that would take him on loan.
“It would probably work for Barcelona if they can’t get him registered if somebody is prepared to take his wages and pay the loan fee of maybe £5million. I think that’s a deal that could happen.
“You would think Spurs, maybe Arsenal if he could fit in there, and even the likes of West Ham.
“Almost any of the major clubs around Europe that can afford that wage would think about taking him.”
If Barça are unable to register the 26-year-old then a loan move would probably be the most practical decision, as not having him play competitive football for over 6 months would be a massive risk.
It would also allow the Blaugrana to recoup some much-needed money and off load his wages for the remainder of the season.
