However, not every player has lived up to expectations, with Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, and Frenkie de Jong struggling to match the standards set by their teammates.
According to Fichajes, the club is considering selling these three to ease financial pressures. Frenkie de Jong, despite Flick’s faith, has faced criticism from fans due to inconsistent performances since returning from injury.
With his contract expiring in 2026 and no renewal in sight, his future remains uncertain.
Ferran Torres’ lack of consistency has frustrated supporters, while Ansu Fati’s repeated injury setbacks have diminished hopes of a full recovery.
Should Fati and Torres depart, Barcelona would need reinforcements in attack or decide to keep one. The coming months will determine the club’s approach to this dilemma.
