Barcelona’s salary cap has risen from €204 million last season to €426 million, as reported by La Liga.

This notable growth is a positive development for the club, although it remains below Real Madrid’s cap of €754 million—the highest in the league. Barcelona’s new limit exceeds Atletico Madrid’s (€310 million) and surpasses Real Sociedad, whose limit is €159 million.

Although Barcelona’s salary cap is not yet at a 1:1 ratio, it is getting closer to reaching that milestone.

President Joan Laporta has conveyed confidence that the club will soon have increased flexibility in the transfer market. Laporta is currently negotiating a significant kit partnership with Nike, poised to provide essential financial growth for the club.
