Barcelona want to sign a right back in 2025, with TWO players being considered for the position.

MD has reported that Barcelona is in search of a new right-back in order to move Jules Kounde back to his desired position as a central defender.
At present, Kounde and Hector Fort are the sole choices for the right-back position in Hansi Flick’s team this season. Barcelona had plans to acquire a right-back during the summer transfer window, but discussions for Marc Pubill and Joao Cancelo stalled.
Both players are not under consideration for the upcoming 2025 season. Instead, the primary targets currently are Joshua Kimmich and Oscar Mingueza.
Kimmich may potentially become a free agent if he does not renew his contract with Bayern Munich, whereas Mingueza could offer a more budget-friendly alternative.
Acquiring either player would represent a strategic decision for Barcelona.
