During a recent interview, Hansi Flick expressed optimism about Jules Kounde‘s ability to take on Nico Williams when Barcelona meets Athletic Club in La Liga today.
Flick emphasized his confidence in Kounde’s capacity to effectively address the challenge at Montjuic, stating, “We have a seasoned player on our side, so I’m confident that Jules will handle him well.”
In the build-up to the match, Flick acknowledged Williams’ talent but highlighted that their focus is on their own team’s approach.
He mentioned, “Discussing Williams is not my focus since he’s not part of our squad. Instead, we need to concentrate on our approach, as he’s a talented player. I’m sure Jules will perform admirably.”
