Reports from Diario AS indicated that he had been performing impressively in training and had been in top form. Manager Hansi Flick had given Fati a PROMISE about his chances in the first team, seeing him as a possible alternative to Robert Lewandowski in the striker position.
Barcelona is committed to standing by Fati, as per the same sources. However, there is a possibility that Fati might contemplate a departure if the club signs another winger or forward.
