João Cancelo’s recent stint at Barcelona, as covered by Diario Sport, has raised some concerns. The 30-year-old full-back, who was borrowed from Manchester City for the previous season, seems to have left a less than positive impact in the Blaugrana dressing room.
Reportedly, there were issues of unease regarding certain off-field behaviors. According to Sport, these behaviors were poorly received by the senior members of the squad when Cancelo wasn’t in the starting lineup.
Diario Sport touches upon the unease caused by João Cancelo’s behavior during his time on loan from Manchester City. His interactions with the younger players were also highlighted as problematic.
These factors led to a less favorable overall impression of Cancelo in the Barcelona locker room and evidently generated a less than favorable impression of Cancelo within the Blaugrana squad.
