Barcelona has their eyes on N’Golo Kante as they contemplate bolstering their midfield with an experienced player before the transfer deadline.
Following the expiration of his contract with Chelsea last summer, Kante sought a fresh start at Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League after a challenging period of injuries in London.
Despite a two-year hiatus from international football, the 33-year-old showcased his regained fitness in Saudi Arabia and made a notable impact at Euro 2024 with the French national team.
It’s been reported by SPORT that Barcelona, who had previously expressed interest in Kante before his move to Al Ittihad, might be gearing up for a fresh bid to secure his services.
Deco is particularly intrigued by Kante, and the club appears to be in talks with Kante’s representatives, possibly capitalizing on his potential interest in departing from Saudi Arabia.
While Barcelona has been persistently pursuing a left winger like Nico Williams throughout the summer, Kante’s appeal to the club remains strong.
