Barcelona have finalized a sponsor for the club’s new shorts, allowing them to get a good amount of income from this deal and potentially return to the 1/1 financial fair play rule with La Liga.

FC Barcelona have been trying to come up with injections of money to compete for the signings of Nico Williams, Dani Olmo and possibly Mikel Merino in order to strengthen Hansi Flick’s side this summer. However, all of these signings require loads of money and the club may have just found a way to fund them.
La Liga President, Javier Tebas had been vocal about how Barça is now very close to returning to 1/1 FFP rule and solving their financial problems and now the club has been given a further boost as they are close to finalizing a sponsor for the first-team shorts which would help the club bring in some cash into the coffers, according to a report by Mundo Deportivo.
The specific details about this deal have not been revealed yet, but it seems that a potential announcement could be on the cars in the coming weeks.
This area of income has been explored by Barcelona in recent years and it seems to have finally reached a conclusion with the club now agreeing a deal. Only time will tell if Joan Laporta & his team’s work successfully allow the club to return to economic normality with La Liga, but this seems to be a big step in the right direction.
