Barcelona wonderkid Pau Cubarsi has revealed his natural connection with Inigo Martinez.

Pau Cubarsi, who joined the first team last season and emerged from the famed club academy La Masia, has cemented his place in the starting XI for Barcelona.
The La Masia graduate has been playing at a high level under former Barcelona coach and club legend Xavi, but with the appointment of Hansi Flick, the youngster’s performance was pronounced as being overlooked.
In the 2024/2025 season, Pau Cubarsi has been featured in almost all the matches in all competitions, leaving the other available CBs to contest for a place in the starting XI.
Despite being paired with numerous CBs this season, the youngster has revealed which of them he has developed a great chemistry with.
Pau Cubarsi revealed yesterday about his natural chemistry with fellow Spanish compatriots.
In his words, “Iñigo Martínez? We have a great chemistry. He always wants the best for me, and I always want the best for him. We make a great duo.”
Inigo Martinez has also been performing high this season under Hansi Flick after almost leaving the club in the summer of 2024.
