Barcelona are edging closer to a landmark moment as the club prepares to return to the fully renovated Spotify Camp Nou.
After months of delays and extensive renovations, anticipation is building among fans eager to see their team back at the iconic stadium.
Hansi Flick’s squad are navigating a busy schedule, balancing domestic fixtures with European ambitions, making the reopening of their home ground all the more symbolic.
The club has been working tirelessly on logistics, safety protocols, and accessibility to ensure fans enjoy a seamless experience.
With matchday operations under close scrutiny, the team and supporters alike are eager for the first taste of Camp Nou’s modernised facilities.
FC Barcelona have officially confirmed that the men’s first team will return to the Spotify Camp Nou on Friday, 7 November, for an open training session in front of fans.
The event will also act as a technical and operational test, allowing the club to assess the proper functioning of access points, systems, and overall stadium operations as part of the progressive reopening plan.
The training session is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m., with doors opening at 9:30 a.m.
Ticket prices have been set at €5 for club members and €10 for the general public, with all proceeds going directly to the Pulseras Blaugranas Project, an initiative run by the Barca Foundation.
Attendance will be capped at 23,000 spectators, who will be seated in the Tribuna and Gol Sur areas, corresponding to Phase 1A of the reopening plan, for which the club already holds the necessary occupancy licence from the City Council.
This session will act as a pilot test ahead of a potential match return later in November.
The fixture against Athletic Club on 22 November has been earmarked as the official reopening match after numerous setbacks and delays.
Barcelona are aiming to secure the Phase 1B occupancy licence, which would allow up to 45,000 fans to attend.
In an official statement, the club said: “The team is excited to welcome back Barca fans to their new home and share this first reunion with them at the Spotify Camp Nou.
In the coming days, the Club will provide all the information regarding access and travel recommendations for this special day.”
With preparations in full swing, Barcelona fans can look forward to experiencing the modernised Camp Nou firsthand, combining the iconic atmosphere with cutting-edge facilities as the club charts its next chapter.
