Barcelona are facing a pivotal summer in the transfer market, with a number of high-profile deals already underway and others hanging in the balance.
The Catalan giants have made progress in talks to sign Nico Williams and are still in the hunt for financial flexibility to register all new arrivals.
Meanwhile, Hansi Flick has already begun shaping his squad, leaning heavily on Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martínez at the heart of his defence during the latter stages of last season.
As the club looks to strengthen the squad and stabilise its finances, the potential for a significant sale looms large.
And one of the names again in the spotlight is none other than Ronald Araujo.
According to journalist Hugo Scoccia, Juventus are ready to return to the table for the Uruguayan centre-back after narrowly missing out on his signature in January.
Ronald Araujo was reportedly close to making the switch to Turin earlier this year, having just returned from injury and struggled to cement a starting role under Flick.

However, sporting director Deco managed to convince the defender to remain at Camp Nou and sign a new contract until 2031 — but the clause included in that deal may now come back to haunt the Blaugrana.
For the first few weeks of this summer’s transfer window, Araujo’s release clause will be reduced to just €60 million, a figure well within reach for Juventus.
Scoccia claims the Bianconeri are actively pushing to finalise a deal this time, hoping that the reduced clause and Barcelona’s financial need will lead to a breakthrough.
Talks are said to be ongoing behind the scenes, although the player himself stated during the recent international break that he had no intention of leaving Barcelona.
Still, without the promise of regular minutes and with Barcelona needing to fund new signings like Nico Williams, the door has not been completely closed.
Araujo’s departure would be a major blow from a sporting perspective, but with the club walking a financial tightrope, it might be a necessary sacrifice to move forward.
La Juventus sigue pensando en Araujo. Creen que es el central que necesitan y por eso irán a por él con una oferta que seduzca al jugador y club. Conversaciones abiertas. Operación que puede desbloquear la carpeta Nico Williams.
