Paris Saint-Germain, with new leadership under the helm of former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, is reportedly highly interested in acquiring Barcelona’s superstar.
PSG needs a dynamic, goal-scoring full-back, and the Spaniard would be the perfect fit.
According to Fichajes, the player is Alejandro Balde.
The 20-year-old left-back has become a regular first-team selection at the Catalonia giants in the recent past.
Balde with his speed, ball control and maturity is now the finest young defender in the entire continent of Europe.
Enrique is not the only one who is a big fan of Balde’s development.
But it will not be easy to sign him. Barcelona views Balde as indispensable and would not release him.
The Catalan squad considers Alejandro Balde to be their future.
He is perfectly suited to play on Jordi Alba’s left side. He is also manager Hansi Flick’s preferred choice to be in his squad.
Financial difficulties may still be looming.
If Barcelona would still be struggling with Financial Fair Play rules, PSG can put their determination to the test with a huge bid.
For now, though, Balde’s destiny appears to be at Camp Nou.
The next few months will determine if PSG’s interest is placed into a tangible transfer.
