Barcelona’s transfer window under Hansi Flick is beginning to take shape with several key players already identified ahead of a critical summer.

Despite financial constraints, the Catalan giants are plotting major moves in the market as they aim to bounce back from a disappointing campaign.

Despite a deadly front line, Barcelona are focused on injecting fresh energy into the squad, particularly in attacking areas.

The Blaugrana board is eager to back Flick, but the club’s fragile economic situation means every potential signing must be carefully balanced with outgoings.

And now, one high-profile Manchester United name has re-emerged on the radar – but only if Barca can make space for him first.

Marcus Rashford remains a serious target for Barcelona, with fresh reports claiming that a move could become possible if the club offloads Ansu Fati, as per 90 Min.

Barcelona had tried to land the England international in January after it became clear he would leave United, but a loan deal proved financially unfeasible.

Marcus Rashford instead joined Aston Villa on a temporary basis, with the deal including a £40million option for a permanent switch to Villa Park.

However, Rashford is expected to reject the opportunity to stay in the Midlands, especially if Villa fail to secure Champions League qualification.

The 27-year-old has recently teamed up with agent Pini Zahavi – a key figure close to president Joan Laporta – to explore a transfer to Camp Nou.

Zahavi also represents Flick, and both the German coach and sporting director Deco are said to be keen on Rashford’s arrival, valuing his versatility and experience.

Rashford is reportedly willing to take a wage cut from his current £325,000-a-week United salary to help facilitate the move.

Yet the real stumbling block remains Fati, who earns around £200,000 per week and had refused to leave in January, scuppering Barcelona’s previous plans.

Now, the 21-year-old is believed to be open to a summer exit, aware that he sits low in Flick’s pecking order after a quiet campaign.

If Barcelona can shift Fati’s wages, they could make a formal approach to United, though the Premier League club are demanding at least £60million for a permanent deal.

The pressure is now on Laporta’s board to act fast as Rashford waits in the wings.
