Manchester United is ramping up its search for a new star player, and one star from Barcelona stands out as a key target.

Manager Ruben Amorim would like to add a competitive option in goal, while club officials are advocating for a new starter in goal, which has piqued the interest in a veteran, older player from Camp Nou.
That player is Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is 33 years old and Barcelona’s captain.
Reports indicate that ter Stegen was told he was not part of Hansi Flick’s long-term plans, which may mean he could become a transfer target.
