Virgili, who recently shone in the U-20 Intercontinental Cup against Flamengo, sought a first-team role but faced limited opportunities at Barcelona due to a crowded attacking lineup.
His brief disagreement with the club over a reserve team role led to this move, offering him a chance to shine in La Liga.
Virgili is set to join Mallorca’s squad ahead of their clash against Real Madrid on August 30, 2025.
