A €25 million Club Brugge attacker is in talks with Barcelona as the club accelerates its search for attacking reinforcements.

The Catalan club has been tracking the player for months, with sporting director Deco personally involved in scouting reports and preliminary contact with the youth’s representatives.

Barcelona’s approach is part of a broader strategy to add technically gifted wingers to their La Masia‑linked pipeline, with the idea that the teenager could first join Barça Atletic and gradually push into the first‑team picture.

The player at the heart of the discussion is Jesse Bisiwu, Club Brugge’s left‑leaning winger known for his speed, close control, and ability to cut inside and attack the box, as reported by Diario Sport.

Bisiwu has already shown flashes of senior‑level quality and has been a regular in Club Brugge’s youth‑league setup, including appearances in the UEFA Youth League.

His current deal with the Belgian club will expire in 2027, but he has so far refused to sign an extension, weakening Brugge’s negotiating position and opening the door for offers from abroad.

Beyond the sporting fit, Bisiwu is reportedly drawn to the prospect of moving to Barcelona, with his agent confirming that the Blaugrana are one of the clubs he would prioritise if he leaves Club Brugge.

The player has also drawn interest from several English and German sides, but Barcelona’s brand, youth‑development reputation, and existing La Liga presence make them a compelling option.

For Club Brugge, agreeing a deal now would allow them to secure a solid one‑off fee, while holding out risks losing him on a free or at a lower price in the future.

For Barcelona, the move would be a quiet, long‑term investment in a winger who could one day challenge for a place in Hansi Flick’s first‑team squad, adding competition along the flanks without consuming a huge transfer budget.
