Barcelona are assessing a possible move for a Borussia Dortmund midfielder after placing the player under close monitoring.
Barcelona continue to keep a close eye on emerging talents across Europe as the Catalan giants look to strengthen their squad for the future.
The club has increasingly focused on identifying promising young players before they establish themselves at the highest level, and their latest scouting interest has taken them to Borussia Dortmund, where a highly rated midfielder is beginning to attract attention from several major European clubs.
According to Fichajes, Barcelona have been closely monitoring the teenager, with the club’s scouts already gathering information on him during September.
The player in question is Justin Ejodamen, a 15-year-old midfielder currently developing within Borussia Dortmund’s youth setup.
However, Barcelona are not alone in their interest, with Arsenal, Chelsea, AC Milan and Juventus also keeping tabs on the youngster as his reputation continues to grow.
Ejodamen is regarded as an exciting midfield prospect with a profile that has caught the attention of top European scouts.
The youngster possesses strong physical qualities and is capable of covering significant ground across the pitch.
Barcelona’s interest is currently understood to be at the scouting and monitoring stage rather than involving a formal offer.
There are no reported advanced negotiations between the Catalan club and Borussia Dortmund at this point.
The increasing competition could nevertheless make the situation more interesting in the future, particularly if Ejodamen continues progressing at his current rate.
For Barcelona, the midfielder represents another long-term opportunity rather than an immediate first-team solution.
The club will continue to follow his development before deciding whether to make a concrete approach.
With several European giants now watching the same youngster, Ejodamen’s next steps at Borussia Dortmund could determine whether Barcelona eventually turn their current interest into a serious pursuit.
