Neglecting all his dedication to the club, Manchester United is interested in acquiring the star defender’s services for next summer’s transfer.
According to Fichajes, the player is Ronald Araujo
Araujo, 26, has been a first-choice Barcelona but fourth choice behind Pau Cubarsí and Iñigo Martínez in Flick’s pecking order.
Although he is solid in defensive roles, his inability to play with a high defensive line has questioned whether he is flexible to Flick’s system.
Manchester United views Araujo as the perfect signing for their defense.
The Premier League giants are ready to pay about €60 million for the center-back, which is close to his €65 million release clause.
The Barcelona coffers can sell Araujo if a good bid is made for him.
But the Uruguayan has already shown his desire to stay at Camp Nou.
As the summer window nears, Araujo’s future hangs in the balance.
