Barcelona has been offered two of Europe’s top strikers to sign before the summer transfer window.
The club is eager to bolster its attack as veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, 36, approaches the twilight of his career.
According to Diario Sport, the players are Victor Osimhen and Dušan Vlahović.
Both Osimhen and Vlahović were also said to have been offered to Barcelona, but a move of either player currently seems improbable.
Osimhen, who plays on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is not so much the missing piece Barcelona currently needs.
His €75m release clause and his salary make the loan difficult for the club to afford financially as well.
Vlahović, however, could be had for less as his Juventus deal expires in 2026, and he has expressed no interest in renewing.
While Barcelona has previously expressed interest in the Serbian striker, their priorities now seem elsewhere.
With money still a major factor, the club can then look at bringing in cheaper alternatives to bring depth to the attack.
While Osimhen and Vlahović are world-class talents, Barcelona’s priority does appear to be signing younger, cheaper players as they look to build for the future.
