Xavi Hernandez, current manager of the Spanish club FC Barcelona, has announced his decision to step down as coach of the club at the end of the current season. This decision comes after a series of disastrous performances from his team which include Saturday’s 3-5 home defeat against Villareal.

Historically, FC Barcelona has been known for its attractive brand of football and titles. But in recent years, Barca has been nowhere near playing attractive football or winning titles.
