Chelsea may have uncovered their own version of Lamine Yamal in Estevao Willian.
The Blues secured the signing of one of Brazil’s most exciting young prospects last summer, agreeing on a deal with Palmeiras that could rise to £52 million.
Currently, Estevao remains on loan with the Sao Paulo-based club, where he has been delivering electrifying performances, further solidifying his reputation. At just 17, he has already earned four senior caps for Brazil.
Chelsea supporters are eagerly awaiting his official arrival in 2025, and the hype has only grown following praise from Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
Speaking to Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport, Ronaldo likened Estevao to Barcelona’s rising star Yamal.
“He’s incredibly talented and reminds me of Lamine Yamal,” Ronaldo said. “At 17, he’s already shown he can become a major football star. I expect him to play for Palmeiras at the Club World Cup before joining Chelsea.”
