FC Barcelona have locked in a vital attacking piece for the future after a top winger officially signed a contract until 2028.
The Catalan giants reached a full agreement to acquire the player’s rights outright, cementing his long-term future in Catalonia after his loan spell proved his explosive potential on the wing.
The official signing ceremony took place with Director of Youth Football Jose Ramon Alexanko in attendance, wrapping up a move that the Blaugrana hierarchy had been eager to finalize ahead of the new campaign.
The exciting talent completing his permanent transfer to Catalonia is 20-year-old Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah.
Having arrived at Barcelona on loan from Dreams FC in 2024, the highly-rated attacker spent time adjusting before breaking through as a vital element for Barça Atlètic.
Under manager Juliano Belletti last season, Issah delivered consistent performances, recording four goals and an assist across 20 appearances and making a strong impression during the closing stretch of the campaign to earn his long-term contract until June 2028.
According to the official announcement published, the agreement includes a two-year commitment with an option to extend for an additional twelve months.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta had previously teased the transfer during the FIFA World Cup events in the United States, even hinting at potential first-team involvement for the talented youngster in the near future.
For now, Issah will focus on leading Barça Atlètic’s attack as their seventh signing of the summer window, taking part in pre-season preparations as he aims to build on his progress.
