Barcelona is planning an interesting summer transfer window as it attempts to reshape its squad, probably focusing on clearing out some bodies before any big additions.

According to Diario Sport, the club is prioritizing the removal of three players, each with varying situations, to open up the flexibility needed for better financial and tactical reasons.

With a bunch of renewals done and laying a foundation for the future, these moves are directed at reshaping Hansi Flick’s squad for next season.

The players are: Ansu Fati, Pablo Torre, and Pau Victor. For Fati, a player who was once touted as a generational talent, he has quickly seen his role in the squad vanished.

After a blunt loan at Brighton, he is accepting a slight role at Barcelona and moving forward with that.

Advanced discussions with AS Monaco suggesting a loan deal with an option to buy, and a permanent exit of Ansu Fati is possible based on performance in Ligue 1.

This move also ties into the larger think of a front and centre reset for Barcelona FC.

Pablo Torre, based on technical abilities and limited impact, is staring down an uncertain future.

There are short moments of being somewhat promising, but it has essentially not featured under Flick whatsoever.

With his contract ending in 2026, Barcelona must handle a situation with either a loan deal after renewal or a transfer with a buy-back option.

Wherever Torre plays next, it feels likely to be in a place where of is confident enough to be unblocked again by a mid-range team and find his elite status again.

Pau Victor, who was brought in permanently from Girona in the summer after playing for Barça Atlètic, is contracted until 2029 and has limited first-team opportunities presently.

The club is considering either a loan or a sale and repurchase clause to help with his development. The player is attracting interest from many clubs.

Each exit, some involving loans and others permanent moves, will take a tailored approach for the situation of the player. This is just another example of how Barcelona are managing their squad.
