Reportedly, Barcelona is considering Federico Chiesa, currently benched at Juventus, as a potential solution for their search for a new winger.
Chiesa, aged 26, is not favored by Juventus’ new head coach, Thiago Motta, who deems him unfit for the team’s tactical style.
According to reports from Diario Sport, and transmitted through JuventusNews24, it has been suggested that Chiesa has been OFFERED to Barcelona.
The Catalan club is actively pursuing Spain’s Euro 2024 standout players Nico Williams and Dani Olmo, the latter has been signed.
Chiesa’s representatives have thrown his name into the mix for consideration by the La Liga club. Fali Ramadani, his agent, has a solid relationship with Barcelona, as he also represents Marcos Alonso.
However, there are two potential obstacles that may impede this move. Chiesa’s relatively high salary, standing at approximately 6 million euros per year, and Juventus’ asking price of 20 million euros are factors that need to be considered.
