Barcelona are edging closer to a landmark moment as the club prepares to return to the fully renovated Spotify Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants have faced months of delays and logistical challenges, leaving fans eager to see their team back at the iconic stadium.

With domestic and European fixtures piling up, the club is focused on ensuring that matchday operations run smoothly.

Accessibility, crowd management, and fan experience are now at the forefront of preparations, with attention to every detail ahead of the highly anticipated return.

The atmosphere at the Camp Nou is expected to be electric as supporters finally step into the stadium for the first time since the renovations began.

The Blaugrana are planning to mark this milestone with a special open training session on 7 November, according to Juli Claramunt of Jijantes FC.

The session will give fans and club members a unique opportunity to visit the Spotify Camp Nou before the official return match.

It is being treated as a pilot event to test the stadium’s facilities and ensure that everything is ready for a full-capacity match.

Reports suggest that up to 23,000 spectators could attend the open session, with the club already holding the initial occupancy licence from the City Council, permitting 27,000 attendees.

Barcelona are carefully finalising logistics, from entry points to seating arrangements, to make sure that fans have a safe and memorable experience.

Public communication about the event is expected soon, assuming there are no further setbacks.

The official return to the stadium is currently targeted for 22 November, when Barcelona host Athletic Club immediately after the international break.

This fixture is expected to draw a full-capacity crowd, giving the team a proper home advantage for the first time in months.

In the coming days, technical inspectors from the City Council are scheduled to visit the stadium to certify that all renovation work meets safety and operational standards.

Once approved, Barcelona will be able to increase the permitted capacity to 45,000 spectators under the 1B licence.

With the final checks underway, the countdown is on for Barcelona fans to experience their team back at the Spotify Camp Nou, combining modern upgrades with the familiar roar of one of football’s most iconic venues.
