Premier League sensation sparks debate at Barcelona

Barcelona have an “ongoing” internal debate for huge Premier League Star signing.

In recent years, FC Barcelona have managed to sign several top-tier players despite their financial struggles, leveraging the club’s enduring appeal to attract elite talent from around the globe.

While the Catalan outfit missed out on a marquee free transfer last summer, they previously secured stars like Ilkay Gündogan, Franck Kessié, Andreas Christensen, and Íñigo Martínez without incurring transfer fees.

Now, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are weighing up a potential move for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires next summer.

The Egyptian winger has hinted at a possible departure, with no renewal offer yet from the Reds.

However, Barcelona face two significant obstacles. Salah, 32, would demand a lengthy deal with wages matching the squad’s top earners.

Moreover, his preferred role on the right wing overlaps with that of Lamine Yamal, raising questions about squad balance.

With interest also coming from Saudi Arabia and Liverpool’s expected renewal bid, Salah’s future remains uncertain.
