Barcelona winger Raphinha has reportedly made his intentions clear amid speculation linking him with a potential transfer to Manchester City, as the club considers offloading Jack Grealish.
According to recent reports, City brought in only two players during the summer transfer window: Savinho, signed from Troyes, and İlkay Gündoğan, who rejoined from Barcelona.
Last season, Grealish’s involvement was limited, with Pep Guardiola naming him in the Premier League starting lineup only ten times. This has fueled rumors that City may now be open to selling Grealish to recoup some of the £100 million they invested to sign him from Aston Villa in 2021.
Raphinha – who has been in impressive form for Barcelona this season – has emerged as a possible target to replace Grealish. However, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, who maintains close ties within the Premier League, reportedly remains “not convinced that he would be looking to move away” from Barcelona.
