Barcelona has issued a squad list for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie against Inter Milan.

The opening leg, on April 30, at Barcelona’s Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys ended in a thrilling 3-3 tie.

Just 30 seconds into the match, Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram opened the scoring in record fashion, followed by an acrobatic volley from fellow teammate Denzel Dumfries.

From there, Barcelona, led by the eye-popping performance of Lamine Yamal, would score three goals from Ferran Torres and Raphinha to respond to two goals conceded from set pieces.

Both teams suffered injury blows, with Barcelona losing a key available Jules Koundé and Lautaro Martínez for parts of the match.

Barcelona have their decisive match against Inter Milan, but they will be without a few players, and some will have to make last-minute fitness decisions according to their manager, Hansi Flick.

Barcelona will be boosted by the return of their top striker, Robert Lewandowski, who has been absent for several weeks due to injury, but is unlikely to start, with Ferran Torres expected to lead the line.

In defense, Barcelona will be without Alejandro Balde, who has not regained fitness, and Jules Koundé, who is injured after suffering a knock in the first leg.

Slightly back from injury, Marc Casadó, along with Marc Bernal, will also be unable to play.

Captain Marc-André ter Stegen, who was not registered in the Champions League squad, was also not traveling.

Youngsters Landry Farre and Noah Darvich, the young talents who both played in the weekend win against Real Valladolid, were both called up again, which gives Flick additional options.

With the tie delicately poised, Barcelona will need a strong performance in Milan if they are to keep their Champions League dreams alive.

Lewandowski’s return could provide a late-game ignition, although there could be difficulties from the defensive absences when facing a very potent Inter attack.

Tomorrow’s match at the San Siro gets underway, with Barcelona needing to overcome their injury woes if they wish to reach the final.
