According to journalist Joan Fontes, Neymar Jnr has his sights set on European goals, including his return to Barcelona to redeem himself and prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Neymar Jr., who made a shocking and emotional move back to his childhood club, Santos, during the winter transfer following his injury-stricken spell at Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, seems to have an unfinished history to make with the Spanish Giant.
Joan Fontes had also revealed Neymar’s continuous fluid relationship with Joan Laporta, and the player could sign a pre-contract with the Spanish Giant in the summer of 2024 before Hansi Flick halted the deal.
Barcelona has a squad of existing players playing good attacking football, scoring 113 goals in 36 matches in all competitions.
The move seems unnecessary with these stats, as the Spanish Giant has been better this season with the attacking trio of Raphina, Lewandoski, and Lamine Yamal.
Nevertheless, with the likes of Raphina (an international teammate) and Lamine Yamal (who idolizes Neymar), their connection with the Brazilian Wizard could see them fancy the move.
