MLS and Saudi clubs interested in signing Barcelona star

Barcelona forward could be tempted by a move to Saudi Arabia or MLS.

Few teams in European football today can match the season FC Barcelona is currently enjoying.

Across all competitions, La Blaugrana have been a formidable presence, and the squad only seems poised to improve as the season progresses.

A key factor in Barcelona’s recent success has been Robert Lewandowski, who has returned to top form. The Polish striker is leading La Liga’s scoring charts and is a strong contender for the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League as well.

However, at 36 years old, Lewandowski’s future in Europe remains uncertain. Reports now suggest he could be drawn to another league soon.

According to Fichajes, the Barcelona star has already received enticing financial offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia, as well as interest from MLS teams. Economically, these proposals are considered highly appealing.

Aware that Lewandowski might soon reach a point where competing in Europe’s top leagues becomes challenging, Barcelona are reportedly accelerating their search for a new striker who could succeed him.

Viktor Gyokeres is one of the names mentioned as a possible replacement, but there has yet to be any concrete negotiations on that front.
