FC Barcelona’s 2024/25 campaign has been nothing short of remarkable, with silverware in the Spanish Super Cup, Copa del Rey, and La Liga.
Their trophy haul is even more commendable given the adversity they faced throughout the season.
Hansi Flick had to navigate a series of injury setbacks that plagued some of his most influential players.
The likes of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Alejandro Balde, Marc Casado, Andreas Christensen, and Ronald Araujo all spent extended periods on the sidelines.
Among the most unfortunate cases was that of promising midfielder Marc Bernal.
The youngster had been tipped to enjoy a breakthrough year but saw his season wiped out by a serious ACL and meniscus injury that kept him out of action from early on.
Encouragingly, Marc Bernal is now making significant progress in his recovery.
Reports in recent weeks have highlighted his steady return to fitness, with signs pointing to a potential comeback in the near future.

Speaking to the media during Barcelona’s title celebrations at the Olympic Stadium Montjuic, the 17-year-old shared his own update.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Bernal confirmed: “I think I’ll be ready to play around the month of August.”
Although injury limited him to just three first-team appearances this season, those moments were unforgettable for the teenager.
Reflecting on the experience, he said: “Everything this team has done is incredible.
“When I started the first two games as a starter, neither my family nor I could believe it.”
As pre-season approaches, Bernal is aiming to be back at full strength.
But competition in midfield will be fierce, with players like Frenkie de Jong, Marc Casado, and Eric Garcia all expected to battle for minutes in the holding role.
