Manchester United make decision on Frenkie De Jong signing

Manchester United have made a decision on their long term interest of Frenkie de Jong, per recent reports.

Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has reportedly redirected his attention from acquiring Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong to pursuing a new target.

Recent reports from Spain suggest that United is still seeking a high-caliber midfielder to enhance their squad, after ruling out De Jong.

The new primary target for the Red Devils is Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella, who was previously associated with Liverpool as a possible summer signing before deciding to remain in Serie A.

Ten Hag considers Barella as the ideal addition to elevate United’s midfield.

Manchester United is currently formulating a significant proposal for the Italian midfielder, reportedly offering around €75 million (£63 million) and an annual wage of €10 million (£8.3 million) in order to persuade him to join Old Trafford.
