Manchester City eye a move for Barcelona superstar

Manchester City want to sign Pedri and have offered a player in a potential swap deal, per reports in England.

Reports from Football365 suggest that Manchester City wants to bring in Pedri from Barcelona. Pep Guardiola has shown a strong interest in acquiring Pedri, viewing him as a valuable asset for Manchester City.

Pedri is said to admire Guardiola’s coaching style, but Barcelona president Joan Laporta is against a potential move, despite Guardiola’s interest.

In an effort to decrease the cost of securing Pedri, Manchester City is contemplating including Matheus Nunes as part of the deal.

The £53 million signing from last summer does not align with Guardiola’s plans. Nevertheless, City may have to propose a different player, as Flick does not appear eager to bring Nunes on board.

Regardless, despite the aforementioned report, it is clear that, at the moment, Pedri does not want to leave Barcelona and the club do not want him to leave either, making the task difficult for any team interested in signing him.
