Barcelona’s return to Spotify Camp Nou at the weekend has injected fresh belief into a squad that has been craving momentum.

The comeback of Raphinha and Joan Garcia from injury added even more positivity, giving Hansi Flick’s side a timely boost as they enter one of the most demanding stretches of the season.

Real Madrid’s unexpected slip-up last night has also shifted the mood in Barcelona’s favour, opening the door for the Catalans to apply real pressure in both domestic and European competitions.

Their focus now turns to Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea await in the Champions League, marking the long-awaited reunion of Barcelona’s preferred forward trio.

With so much at stake, the spotlight inevitably falls on the club’s youngest superstar, who finds himself facing yet another historic opportunity.

It is after this backdrop that Mundo Deportivo reports Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal is once again on the brink of Champions League history, with the teenager edging closer to breaking Kylian Mbappe’s long-standing record.

Lamine Yamal, who has been managing pubalgia since the start of the campaign, has seen gradual improvement in recent weeks and is expected to play an influential role in tomorrow night’s clash against Chelsea.

At just 18 years and 135 days old, he has already scored seven Champions League goals, an astonishing tally for a player of his age, and now needs only three more to equal Mbappe’s record for the most goals scored in the competition before turning 19.

A hat-trick at Stamford Bridge would not only level the record but create a memory that would be etched into club lore, especially coming in a decisive knockout fixture.

Crucially, Lamine Yamal turns 19 only in July next year, meaning he has virtually the entirety of the current campaign to surpass the Frenchman’s milestone and set a new benchmark for teenage excellence in Europe.

Given his influence, consistency, and sheer talent, many within the club believe that breaking the record is not a matter of if, but when.

However, Barcelona will not find an easy opponent in Chelsea.

The London side have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and head into the tie with the same number of Champions League points as the Catalans, making tomorrow’s match a high-stakes encounter for both clubs. For Yamal, the stage is set, and history is within touching distance.
