Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal has reportedly laid out staggering contract demands as the club scrambles to secure his future amid growing interest from Europe’s elite.
FC Barcelona is making bold moves to fortify their squad for years to come, with a slew of contract renewals reflecting their aim to achieve success in European football.
Under club president Joan Laporta, the club is keeping its key personnel and management in place to achieve stability and continuity.
Manager Hansi Flick will sign on to be the manager until 2027, while winger Raphinha is set to sign a contract extension until 2029.

However, the most thrilling news is that of the teenage phenomenon Lamine Yamal.
According to ElDesmarque, FC Barcelona is in advanced negotiations to sign Yamal until 2030, with a staggering contract of €16 million to represent them.
This is €13 million more than his current contract and would make the 18-year-old the third highest earner behind Robert Lewandowski (€26M) and Frenkie de Jong (€23M).
The contract would potentially include bonuses for various trophies and the Ballon d’Or, which Yamal was already sniffing at, underlining his rapid rise.
Yamal’s new contract would see him far away from established names like Kounde, Pedri, and Raphinha, who all earn between €12-€13m per year, and Ansu Fati, who, due to injuries, is only on €14m annually.
Others in the club are a bit nervous about Yamal eventually facing similar issues, but Laporta and the leadership see him as a generational talent and are willing to take the gamble.
These renewals show that Barcelona are trying to blend youth with experience and that Yamal will be at the heart of this for the foreseeable future.
