Outgoings are going to be the talk of the town until the transfer window at Barcelona.
Ansu Fati, Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia all seem set to depart the Camp Nou to make way for new signings.
Meanwhile, the future of Ferran Torres and Ronald Araujo still remains up in the air.
Another player who has been linked with a move away in recent weeks is Jules Kounde.
Despite praising Hansi Flick and how he manages the team, the French international was linked with a €100million move to Chelsea.
“Flick is very close with us. He’s also very demanding and he makes us very happy,” Kounde claimed in a recent interview.
With Kounde’s current contract ending in 2027, this summer would be the best time to sell him if Barca wanted to make the most money.
However, a recent report from Sport has claimed that Barcelona have reached an agreement to renew Jules Kounde’s contract until 2030.
This will see him stay at the club until he is 31-years-old.
It is claimed that the club are very satisfied with his performances and they are happy that the frustration about playing full-back no longer exists.
As per the article, the 26-year-old will be given a small pay rise with this contract.
However, the deal is not set to be announced officially until summer as the Blaugrana currently have no salary cap space.
Kounde is currently the 4th highest earner at Barca, with a salary of €260k per week, so any rise in that should not be a big issue for the club going forward.
