According to AS, the former goalkeeper, known for his heroics at the 1974 World Cup, lambasted Flick’s failure to maximize a squad capable of dominating Europe.
“Barcelona have a squad for the Champions League, the most important trophy,” Tomaszewski stated, pointing to the team’s 5-0 loss to PSG as evidence of Flick’s shortcomings. He insisted that Flick “can’t continue,” urging the club not to extend his contract despite a recent 50th win and a new deal.
