Barcelona is poised to rival Real Madrid in the pursuit of Joshua Kimmich, a German midfielder whom the Catalan club has shown interest in for some time.
According to Bojan Krkic Sr., a former Barça scout and current analyst for SER Catalunya, Kimmich may be leaning towards a transfer to Barcelona.
“Kimmich is very keen on joining Barça,” Krkic Sr. stated. “He is regarded as a top German player, as stated by Mundo Deportivo.
Renowned German and French players often mention Barcelona as their preferred club when asked about their choice of playing location.”
“Madrid is an option, but players are usually attracted to Barça due to its long-standing history and prestige, rather than being motivated by financial considerations,” he explained.
